Blue Mountain Trailer Rentals – Official Rental Contract

Effective Date: The date of booking

This Rental Contract (“Contract”) is entered into between Blue Mountain Trailer Rentals (“Company”) and the individual or entity making the booking (“Renter”). By completing a booking, the Renter agrees to all terms and conditions contained herein.


1. Rental Term

  1. All rentals are daily rentals only.
  2. Each rental period begins at the time of pickup on the booked day and ends at 11:59 PM (midnight) of the same calendar day, regardless of pickup time.
  3. Rentals are for one day only unless multiple rental days are booked. No partial-day, hourly, or multi-day rates apply unless per calendar day booked

Example: If the trailer is booked for February 16 only and is picked up at 3:00 PM on February 16, it must be returned by 11:59 PM (midnight) on February 16, unless additional rental days are booked.

Example #2: If today is May 10 and the trailer is booked for May 10 and May 11, the rental includes two (2) calendar days. The trailer must be returned by 11:59 PM (midnight) on May 11, regardless of pickup time.


2. Reservation & Confirmation

  1. Bookings are confirmed once the reservation is accepted by the Company.
  2. Once confirmed, the reservation is locked and the trailer is removed from availability.
  3. Renter may pick up the trailer any time on the booked day.
  4. Payment may be required at the time of booking or at pickup, depending on the selected payment method.
  5. The Renter is responsible for inspecting the trailer prior to departure and must notify the Company of any pre-existing damage before leaving the premises.

3. Pickup & Use

  1. Renter shall hook up and operate the trailer safely and according to its intended use.
  2. Trailers may not be sub-rented, loaned, or used by anyone other than the Renter.
  3. Renter is responsible for any damage, loss, or fines incurred during the rental period.

4. Return Requirements

  1. Trailers must be returned by 11:59 PM (midnight) on the rental day.
  2. Trailers must be returned:
    • Clean and empty of all debris or trash
    • Parked within the designated marked spot
    • In the same condition as received, excluding normal wear
  3. Late returns, dirty trailers, damaged trailers, or trailers returned improperly may result in additional charges reasonably related to cleaning, repair, extended use, or loss of availability according to the fee schedule.

5. Cancellations & Rescheduling

  1. Reservations may be canceled or rescheduled anytime before the rental day without penalty.
  2. Rescheduling is subject to availability and does not alter the original rental rate.
  3. Same-day cancellations are non-refundable, as the trailer is reserved exclusively for the Renter.

6. Refunds

  1. Refunds are issued only at the Company’s discretion and strictly under the following conditions:
    • Cancellation received before the rental day
    • Trailer unavailable due to Company-related issues
  2. Refunds will not be issued for:
    • Same-day cancellations
    • No-shows or failure to pick up
    • Early returns or unused rental time
    • Weather conditions or job delays
    • Violations of rental rules or improper use of the trailer

7. Weather & External Conditions

  1. Weather, site conditions, or other unforeseen circumstances do not constitute grounds for a refund.
  2. At the Company’s discretion, customers may be offered a reschedule for severe weather events, subject to availability.

8. Liability & Indemnification

  1. The Renter is solely responsible for the trailer during the rental period.
  2. The Renter agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Company for any damages, fines, injuries, or losses resulting from the rental, including accidents during transport or use.
  3. The Company is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

9. Agreement to Terms

By completing the booking, the Renter acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to all terms and conditions in this Contract, including the Rental Term, Return Requirements, Cancellations & Refunds Policy, and Liability provisions.


10. Fees, Charges, and Assessments

The Renter agrees that additional charges may apply if the trailer is not returned on time, not returned in acceptable condition, or is damaged during the rental period.

Additional charges may include, but are not limited to:

  • Late Return Fees – If the trailer is not returned by 11:59 PM (midnight) on the final rental date
  • Cleaning Fees – If the trailer is returned excessively dirty, contains debris, or requires cleaning beyond normal use
  • Damage or Repair Costs – For any damage beyond normal wear and tear
  • Abandoned/Improper Return Fee – If damage or late return prevents the trailer from being rented to another customer
  • Missing Equipment or Accessories – Including, but not limited to, ramps, pins, plugs, or other trailer components

Any applicable fees will be reasonable, based on actual costs incurred, and proportionate to the condition or circumstances of the return.

The Company reserves the right to assess and collect applicable charges after inspection of the trailer and to communicate such charges to the Renter. Payment of assessed charges may be required before the rental is considered closed.


Signature / Acceptance

  • Electronic acceptance via checkout, booking confirmation, or digital signature constitutes a legally binding agreement with the same effect as a handwritten signature
